While often used interchangeably, "bathtub refinishing" refers to the entire process of restoring a bathtub surface, including sanding, repairing damage, and applying a new coating, while "bathtub reglazing" specifically refers to the act of applying the new coating layer itself; essentially, reglazing is a part of the overall refinishing process.
Yes, bathtubs can be refinished more than once, as long as the tub is in good enough condition and the old finish is stripped if it's peeling or chipped.
The odor from bathtub refinishing typically lasts around 24 hours, with the strongest smell present during the first few hours, and gradually dissipating as the finish cures; proper ventilation with open windows or fans can significantly reduce the smell time.
With adequate ventilation and safety precautions taken by a professional, it should not pose a significant risk to you, your family, or pets.

Yes! We ask that you follow the steps below to help the work last as long as possible.
Clean your newly refinished surfaces in the same manner as the originals. The bathtub should be cleaned and rinsed on a regular basis with products such as Lysol Tub & Tile Cleaner, Dow Scrubbing Bubbles, Scratch Guard or Mr. Clean Bathroom Cleaner. Harsh abrasive cleansers are unnecessary and can eventually ruin the finish. DO NOT USE COMET, KITCHEN CLEANSERS OR AN ABRASIVE SPONGE. However, any chemicals you choose for cleaning must be tested in an inconspicuous area of the bathtub before general use. After the use of all chemicals thoroughly rinse with water.
Such undo pressure can cause the finish to crack and wear prematurely.
Avoid using bath mats with suction cups.
